International Consultancy

Using international experience and networks gained from 15 years working at the highest level in international law firms and the UN, Leigh can offer first rate advice on all aspects of investment and contract law. She has extensive experience in dealing with foreign counsel and Governments and drafting and negotiating on their behalf.

Since qualification Leigh has had a particular interest in the relationship between corporate and business law and human rights and redressing the imbalance of negotiating positions between multinational corporations and developing countries. These issues are now being more widely recognised and addressed in a more coherent framework, particularly within the initiatives set up by the United Nations Secretary General’s Special Representative on Business and Human Rights and the WTO’s Aid for Trade programme where technical assistance and capacity building are key components.

She is listed as an expert under the UN initiative Business and Society Exploring Solutions and is available for
UN consultancies in Humanitarian and Human Rights and as well as UN report writing.
